Trevally

Trevally for some reason grow very big here on Norfolk Island. The one Bill caught here is a whopping 11.2kg or 24lbs...huge. It's not a Giant Trevally like you get in the tropics, it's just an ordinary Trevally. As you can see Bill caught it on a soft bait. We use soft baits here with excellent results. Bill thought it was a kingie as it came up, the yellow tail fooled him. He was over the moon when this fish came into the boat.
